Studio Explorers is Creative Makes for grown-ups. Two weekly classes, a genuinely welcoming community, and a studio where the only expectation is that you show up and make something.
Whether you've been making things your whole life or haven't picked up a brush since school, there's a place for you here. No experience required. No performance expected. Just the particular satisfaction of creating with your hands in good company.
Clay Club
For Adults and young people aged 16+
There is something genuinely different about working with clay. It slows you down. It asks for your full attention. And it has a way of producing something unexpected almost every time.
In Clay Club, you'll explore handbuilding, coiling, slab work, and more, at your own pace and in your own direction. Sessions are guided and supportive, with plenty of room to experiment, ask questions, and follow your own curiosity.
All materials, tools, and space are provided. You just bring yourself.
Art Club
For Adults and young people aged 16+
Art Club is your weekly chance to step away from the noise and make something with your hands. Each session, you'll work across painting, mixed media, and a range of craft techniques in a relaxed, inclusive space where there's no right answer and no pressure to perform.
Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or returning to a practice you've neglected, this is a space to reconnect with your creativity and with a community of people who get it.
No experience required. All abilities welcome. We handle the clean-up.
