At Creative Makes, there are no templates, no wrong answers, and no pressure to make something that looks like anyone else's work.
We give children and adults the space to explore, experiment, and discover what they're actually capable of when someone trusts them to find their own way. That's process-based art: where the making matters more than the outcome, and where every person who walks through the door is welcomed exactly as they are.
From first-time makers to experienced artists. From curious four-year-olds to adults who haven't made anything in years. Creative Makes is a place to create, connect, and belong.

Creative Explorers is where children grow into confident, independent makers. Working through four creative phases at their own pace, they experiment, express themselves, develop their own artistic voice, and become part of a studio community that celebrates who they are.
Studio Explorers is Creative Makes for grown-ups. Weekly Art Club and Clay Club sessions in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. A space to slow down, make something with your hands, and connect with a community of people who get it.

“Creative Makes is truly a special place. I’ve been attending the adult Art Club and it has become a safe, welcoming space where I can be completely myself—no judgement, just encouragement and creativity. It’s been such a joy to explore different art styles and techniques in such a supportive environment. Mel is a wonderful facilitator—genuine, thoughtful, and always inspiring.
My daughter has been part of Creative Makes since she was 4 (she’s now 10), and it’s been such a big part of her growing up. She absolutely loves attending Creative Explorers and still gets excited every week. She always tells me how much she loves the teachers, especially how funny and enthusiastic they are. She says it’s the best place ever! The creativity, the joy, and the care that go into every class really shine through.
Thank you, Mel and the Creative Makes team, for creating such a magical and nurturing space for artists of all ages.”

My daughter has been attending for nearly a year and she gets so excited to go every week.
Even I have been staying with my 3 year old boy just to be in the facility and watch what my daughter comes up with.
I love that she can walk in and just do whatever she wants and it isn’t a ‘structure’ class. If she wants to make something like a cat outfit - she can. If she wants to make a mug - she can.
Thanks guys!
